The Claiborne at West Lake breaks ground
Augusta will see another senior living center in the near future. The Claiborne at West Lake broke ground on June 1 by CR Properties, LLC, a privately owned real estate development company from Mississippi.
The Claiborne at West Lake will have 100 units, 70 of which will be assisted living units in two-bedroom, one-bedroom and studio suite configurations. There will also be an adjoining memory care support facility for Alzheimer?s and dementia care. All options include housekeeping, maintenance services and amenities.

Crowd Gathers For Opening Of New Columbia County Publix
Today's grand opening of a Publix in Columbia County is the latest in a recent boom of grocery store openings in the county. The ribbon-cutting ceremony for Publix was held at 6:45 a.m., and the first 1,500 customers at the store are to receive a free Publix reusable grocery bag, according to the release.
